Ricoh G700SE Digital Camera and GPS-Photo Link Software Bundle
Geolocate your photos with the Ricoh G700SE digital camera with onboard Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
capabilities to accept NMEA GPS information as well as wirelessly send your images to any enabled
device. Whether you use your own Bluetooth enabled GPS or the optional GP-1 attached GPS device,
you can map your photos by running GPS-Photo Link. GPS-Photo Link software has specific
functionality to capitalize on the Ricoh camera's features. The software watermarks and maps photos
and creates reports in a variety of formats including HTML, Word, and PDF. A special ArcGIS
®
plug-in
allows users to process photos from within ArcGIS applicationsthere is no need to open up a
separate program. The software can also output Esri ArcSDE
®
enterprise geodatabases, personal and
file geodatabases, and shapefiles.

The G700SE camera can store 20 different memos or attribute field notes for each picture
taken.
Camera utilizes a user-configurable data dictionary for tagging pictures with workflow-related
information. This 'meta-data' is accessible via the GIS attributes table for real-time searches or
database integration.

Link AVI movies taken with the Ricoh camera.

ArcGIS plug-in runs GPS-Photo Link from the ArcGIS application with the press of one button!
Create Esri ArcSDE enterprise geodatabases, personal and file geodatabases, and shapefiles
showing the location of each photo; automatically load the new layer into ArcView.
Esri ArcView extension for hot linking shapefiles to images allows you to click on the feature
point and the georeferenced photo will be displayed! Hover over a point, and a thumbnail of the
photo pops up! Display Ricoh Camera Memos along with the photo when hovering over a
feature point in ArcGIS.
Produce a layer containing Field of View wedges showing the camera’s field of view.
Create offset locations using the compass and laser rangefinder information (if available).
Generate customizable reports in HTML, Word, and PDF files including watermarked photos
and detailed maps showing the photo’s location using Google Maps, MapBlast, TIGER, USGS
aerial photos, or USGS topo maps. HTML output includes an overview map and displays a
selectable list of thumbnails for all photos.
