Setting the Focus
The camera has four focus settings.
Display Mode name
AF Auto
MF Manual
2.5 m 2.5m
∞ Infinity
Description
The camera sets the focus automatically.
You can set the focus manually.
You can focus on a subject at a distance of
about 2.5 m.
You can focus on a subject that is far away,
such as a landscape.
■ Setting Auto Focus (AF), 2.5 m or
Infinity (∞)

Set the mode dial to one of the following:
[ • • • ] and press the MENU
button.

Press the or button to select
[FOCUS].

Press the or button to select [AF,
2.5m or ∞] and press the ENTER button.

Press the MENU button.
“2.5 m” or “∞” will be displayed on the LCD monitor.
If you select [AF], there is no display.
