Negative Mode
By using a light box (available at a camera shop), you
can photograph negatives from a developed 35mm film
and convert the negative images into positive images.

Set the mode dial to one of the following:
[ ] and press the MENU button.

Press the or button to select
[NEGATIVE].
Note
Enable the keep settings mode to save the negative mode
setting. See Keep Settings (p.121)

Press the or button to select [ON]
and press the ENTER button.

Press the MENU button.

Press the shutter release button.
If necessary, you can correct the image using M
(manual white balance) or exposure compensation.
Important
Note
The surroundings may be
reflected in the light from the
light box and included in the
shot. Cover the area around
the negative with something
black.
Note
To cancel the negative mode,
select [OFF].
