Negative Mode
By using a light box (available at a camera shop), you
can photograph negatives from a developed 35mm film
and convert the negative images into positive images.

Set the mode dial to one of the following:
[ • • ] and press the MENU button.

Press the or button to select
[NEGATIVE].
Note
• Enable the keep settings mode to save the negative mode
setting. See “Keep Settings” (p.121)

Press the or button to select [ON]
and press the ENTER button.

Press the MENU button.

Press the shutter release button.
If necessary, you can correct the image using M
(manual white balance) or exposure compensation.
Important
Note
• The surroundings may be
reflected in the light from the
light box and included in the
shot. Cover the area around
the negative with something
black.
Note
• To cancel the negative mode,
select [OFF].
