white point
The color temperature of any white light
source, typically expressed in degrees
Kelvin (for example, 6500 K, typical for
the white of a monitor).
workflow
The path a print job follows from
creation to destination. A workflow may
originate with an RGB scan imported to
the client workstation and opened on the
desktop in an image processing
application, such as Photoshop. After
adjustments are made to the scanned
image, it is evaluated on a color proofing
device for eventual color printing on the
same device or on press.
