read the error code. The error code is not displayed
on the operation panel. The additional error codes
(0F30, 0F31, etc. are listed in the SMC report).

Self-diagnostic error 8: Engine I/F
ASIC
• ASIC for system control could not
be detected. After the PCI
configuration, the device ID for the
ASIC could not be checked.
• ASCI (Mandolin) for system control is
defective
• Interface between North Bridge and
AGPI is defective
(0F41) • ASIC for system control could not
be detected. After the PCI
configuration, the device ID for the
ASIC could not be checked.
• Memory device defective
• Replace the controller board
(50B1) Could not initialize or read the bus
connection.
• Bus connection defective, loose
• SSCG defective
• Replace the controller board
(50B2) Value of the SSCG register is
incorrect.
• Bus connection loose, defective
